Frequently asked questions

Anything else? Call +34 609 838 005 or send a request below.

How much can I borrow?

Up to 70% of the purchase price. The exact amount depends on your income, your existing commitments and the bank's valuation of the property.

Can I get a mortgage in Spain if I live in Poland?

Yes. Banks in Spain lend to non-residents, and your Polish-speaking loan officer prepares the application with you.

What does 2.5–2.75% APRC mean?

APRC is the total yearly cost of the loan, including interest and fees. The range shows current indicative terms. Your personal offer comes from the bank after it reviews your application.

Which costs come on top of the price?

In Andalusia, 7% transfer tax on a resale home, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. Plan for about 10% of the price. New builds are taxed differently, and your lawyer confirms the figure before you commit.

Do I need to be in Spain during the process?

Not for every step. With a power of attorney signed before a notary, your lawyer can handle the paperwork. To buy, you also need a Spanish identification number for foreigners (NIE).
